Somewhere, in deepest Week St. Mary, we have situated a webcam, broadcasting
live images, (most of the time) of an extremely busy set of bird tables and
feeders. To view the images please click on the above link; this will open a new web page which contains the actual image and buttons
to allow movement of the camera (pan & tilt).
|
If this is your first
visit, you will be presented with a warning
that you are required to install an ActiveX
component... this is perfectly normal and safe - it is a small piece of software
that controls the display of the webcam and allows you to move the webcam
around.
After a few
moments (depending on the speed of your connection) you will be presented with a
'Log In' box. You have to 'Log In' by using the "User name:"
user
(lowercase). The "Password:" is also
user
(lowercase).

To move the camera, use
the arrow keys accordingly... you must wait a few seconds for the camera
controls to respond.
Clicking the 'house' in
the centre of the control wheel will cause the camera to return to the
starting position again. |
The only limitation is that a
maximum of 10 connections are allowed at any one time, so if it's busy, please
try again later.
