I was born in Bromley, Kent in 1952 and my parents moved to Boyton in 1954. My early childhood was in North Cornwall and I moved back to Week St. Mary 15 years ago. I have also lived in France, Belgium, Surrey and Devon.
I qualified as a teacher at Goldsmiths’ College London, and taught Design Technology for 28 years. I was first elected as a Parish Councillor in 1995 and was a District Councillor from 1999-2007 and County Councillor from 2005. I am interested in local employment and affordable homes, particularly for our younger generation. I am also interested in our historic, natural and built environment.
