INSCRIPTION

Sacred to the Memory of
JOHN PENGELLY
late of this parish
who died February 2nd 1851
Aged 63 years
---
Also
in memory of
SUSANNA
sister of the above
who died June 6th 1850
Aged 71 years

Come gentle stranger turn aside
and leave thy cares and worldly pride
on me this favour they bestow.
You are a sinner far from God
and must be washed in Jesus' blood
Must know on earth your sins forgiven
if you expect to enter Heaven
