Lantern Walk |

Over 50
parishioners, both young and old, braved
the damp evening to walk from Week Green
down the footpath to Lambley corner,
then into the Playing Field before
joining Rev Rob at the village green for
the lighting of the Christmas Tree.
The footpath and playing field was lit
by candles making the walk more friendly
and more exciting for the very young.
This was followed by a procession to the
church where John Hopkinson played the
organ whilst the gathered assembly
enjoyed a sing-song of popular carols.
Hot drinks and mince pies were served to
all present.
