Week St. Mary Mini-Marathon 17th April

A Mini marathon was organised by Bob
Johns MBE on Sunday 17th April, which
covered the Week St Mary area, to raise
money for the Robert Johns Leukaemia
Fund. Over 30 people took part in the
event including children, which
commenced at 11.00am, to coincide with
the time that Local County Councillor
Adam Paynter was due to start in the
London Marathon to raise money for the
charity, which he completed in 4hrs
43min 10sec. Bob wished to thank
everyone who took part in the event for
their tremendous support. |
