Following the conclusion of the
once-monthly lunches at the Green Inn, a
number of people suggested that an
opportunity to continue to meet up and
eat together on the first Monday of each
month might be welcomed by other members
of the community.
So, although this is not in any way a
church or fundraising event, Sue
Dickenson has offered her home (the
Rectory) as a venue for this, on
various dates - please check the
calendar!
Initially, at a price of £3.50, this
MEET & EAT will offer a
selection of soups and rolls followed by
a similar choice of puddings, tea and
coffee. But, should it prove popular,
this might be extended in the future to
a selection of main courses.
It would help planning for the catering
if you could contact
