There are bound to be stories, rumours, unconfirmed facts or tales of old that have not come to light by the time this book reaches the printers but I hope that the story so far will become my permanent contribution to the village I know and love, and I thank all of the contributors so very much for all their memories, photographs and documents - thank you everyone, all I have done is put it all together!
