Our society covers the parishes of
Morwenstow, Marhamchurch, Kilkhampton,
Launcells, Poundstock,
Week St. Mary, Warbstow, Whitestone, St.
Gennys, Poughill and of course Bude &
Stratton.
GUARDIAN OF THE CORNISH HERITAGE
Meetings are held in the Parkhouse
Centre, Bude.
Non-members are cordially invited to
attend any meetings for a small entrance

subject & it was he who set up and ran
the Hartland Museum of Shipwrecks

"The Delabole Slate Quarry" by
George Hamilton
An introduction to the history, geology
and operation of the Delabole Cornish
Slate Co Ltd a private Cornish company,
in sole ownership of the Hamilton
family, by the Managing Director.

Conservation Area of Appraisal and
Management Plan and has spent many years
working in this field. She is currently
working at the University of Plymouth.

An insight into the customs of this
popular ancient sport

"Davidstow Airfield and
Cornwall at War" Steve Perry
Members can learn about the involvement
of this airfield during WW2

held at Liskeard on 10th November this
year
• The 2013 Summer Festival will be held
at Camborne on 13th July 2013
• There will be organised walks in May,
June and July of next year
