OLD CORNWALL SOCIETY
Our society covers the parishes of Morwenstow, Marhamchurch, Kilkhampton, Launcells, Poundstock, 
Week St. Mary, Warbstow, Whitestone, St. Gennys, Poughill and of course Bude & Stratton.

GUARDIAN OF THE CORNISH HERITAGE

Meetings are held in the Parkhouse Centre, Bude.
Non-members are cordially invited to attend any meetings for a small entrance fee.

Bude resident Geological Consultant will describe the fascinating history of the formation of Bude's folded rocks that formed the magnificent cliffs many millenniums ago.

Born and bred locally, Adrian needs no introduction. The Abbott family were involved working on the railway from the beginning to the day the Bude Railway station closed!

Sue Meadows, great granddaughter of the Master and Matron of the Stratton Workhouse in the late 19th century gives an insight into their working lives.

“The Classic Air Force Museum St Mawgan” by Colin Grey
Originally at the Air base at Coventry the Post World War museum moved to Newquay this year. Colin will tell us about the exciting artefacts they have inherited that include 30 aircraft, and, there are more to come!
