Women's Institute Events 21st July, 2010 Despite torrential rain during the day and a change of venue back to the Methodist School Room, a very enjoyable evening was had by the members and a few partners.     All the donated food was excellent and the puddings were up to our usual high W. I. standard.  18th March 2009 Week St. Mary Women's Institute 64th Birthday Lunch The birthday lunch was held at Trencreek and thoroughly enjoyed by all. Pictures include: (top left) Chris Davies presenting Sylvia Johnstone with her Presidents Badge (bottom right) and an uninvited guest who tapped at the patio door to come in(?). Was he late for the lunch? 16th July 2008 Week St. Mary Women's Institute Summer Party Hostess: Victoria Sowerby Victoria Sowerby of Wentworth House played hostess for the evening with the ladies and guests enjoying a pleasant evening. 19th March 2008 Week St. Mary Women's Institute 63rd Birthday Lunch (Held at Trencreek) Week St. Mary Womens Institute 63rd birthday party held at Trencreek. The theme of the day was to come dressed for a wedding with outfits purchased from a charity shop, a wonderful effort was made by all including the male partners of various WI members. A presentation of a silver WI "presidents brooch" was made to the retiring president Mrs Chris Davies. Christmas Party 2007
