• THANK YOU, THANK YOU, ONE & ALL:  Now that we have a functioning "Heating System" it was decided to start using the Church for more events so I came up with the idea of inviting The Countrymen to do a concert ... this proved an even greater evening than I could have imagined.

Friday 5th October 2018 - The church was packed and having obtained a Temporary Event Notice this allowed us to have alcohol on the premise and everyone enjoyed a hot pasty during the interval. With the coloured lights setting off the Chancel and the wonderful acoustics it was an evening enjoyed by everyone.

For "The Countrymen" the treat was following in the footsteps of John Wesley who preached in our church as they sing about him. I would like to thank Lesley and everyone who helped in any way (warming pasties, raffle and bar staff) but mostly Tintagel Brewery for sponsoring the beer and Martin Group Service (Bude) for printing and donating the posters /tickets.  Trelawney sounded great with everyone joining in to end the evening. The GRAND total of £1,247.00 was raised for Church Funds.   Linda Cobbledick
